Sweet & Salty + Vintage magazine clutch
How are my lovely ladies doing? Me? I am GOOD! Never been better. Linda, on the other hand, is not feeling too great so I am sending her some love all the way to Côte d'Ivoire where she currently is. Feel better sweetheart.
It's monday and before we go on with yet another work week, let me share with you my two sweet looks of the past one:

Ashanti looking great in a Balenciaga dress and obvious (the red soles) Christian Louboutin heels. I really like the dress.

Solange mixed and matched bright accessories. I know most people don't like "experimenting" this way but I love it.
My salty look of the week goes to Kelis. I usually like Kelis bold sense of style but this time around, something ain't right. Or I should say a lot of things are not right: the hair, the ill-fitting clothes, the boots...

Oh! I almost forgot: her bright yellow bag. This is a blatant case of "mix and match" gone wrong.

...We still love you Kelis.
Now that we are done with the sweet or salty category, I would like to share my it clutch of the moment: vintage magazine clutch. Linda has had hers for years and I am looking for one as well. I however favor a neutral one over a bright one. Patricia Field has made great -bright-ones which are currently available at $80. A nice alternative to the pricing ones you might find in vintage stores.

Sweet & Salty
Dania Ramirez, our sweet girl of the week is definitely on The Perfect Touch radar for her perky and refreshing style. Me likey a whole lot.

Sarah Jessica Parker definitely got carried away at the London premiere of the Sex And The City movie. Taking a page from Carrie's book, she was donning a rather extravagant hat and seemed completely unfazed by what might jump out of that thing. That left me perplexed and salty..I was like WHY? She however redeemed herself a few days later in a nude-colored Versace dress and gold accessories; Sarah Jessica looked elegant and refined.

Just in case you don't feel our pain, let's take another look:
Again, WHY?
The elaborated hat with a lime green rose, butterflies (and much more) is by designer Philip Treacy. Like Usher once said, LET IT BURN. ASAP.
This week, our married Beyoncé went for the same look twice: bérets, layered necklaces, a snake skin tote and tweed jackets. When the first one was a total miss, the second look is rather a hit. I would have personnaly been less accessorized and would have not worn a tweed jacket. I keep tweed for fall and winter. Our favorite accessory on her? Her constant smile...hasn't she been grinning a lot these days? I wonder why...J-A-Y-Z.

We still love you ladies!
To our readers in Canada, enjoy the long week-end and be safe! Bisous, besos and smootches!

Sweet!
Alors là, un 20/20 à notre Sud-Africaine Chalize Theron...Le mixage des couleurs lui vaut même une mention très bien. Good job Ms. Theron.

Chanel Iman
Yesterday was the Superheroes Fashion & Fantasy Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and you can see pictures of our fashionistas here and here.
I however wanted to give 2 thumbs up to Supermodel in the making Chanel Iman for her gorgeous dress nicely accessorized with a coper belt and a coper cuff as well as embellished black stilettos and clutch. I know the ruffles make the dress a bit extravagant but the color is just too lovely. Long story short, nicely done!

Salty!
I love me some Tony Childs and Girlfriends just wasn't the same after Jill Marie Jones left. I miss her and always am excited to see her out and about. She looks good here but...yes there is a but....she could have done it without the hat. Non?
After tedious consideration and a few comments from the ladies, Tony! Toni! Toné! gets a hell-to-the-no from me. MAJOR DOWNGRADE!
At first, I tought the hat was the issue but...at least her make-up looks good and I am sure our make-up diva EvaDiVa agrees.
